Life
My Kids
Since I am single and have never been married, my kids are special because they are family and friends. My oldest is Jennifer. She is now 17 and I was her nanny for the first 3-1/2 years of her life. She remains very special to my heart. Next up are my brothers daughters Jordan, Eden, and Hannah. Although I don't see them in person much, I am blessed with pictures and hearing about their escapades. They are so different and God has blessed them with beauty and talents. Last but never least are my "god-daughters", the children of my best friend. They are Brittany, Brianna, and Brooklynne. I was there when they were born and have remained active in their lives. My Job
I am the Administrative Assistant to the CEO/Administrator of an independent senior apartment complex. We are a non-profit property, subsidized by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and managed by "the other NBA", the National Benevolent Association. We are not a nursing home. We are, instead, housing for the elderly (62 and above) or mobility impaired, that are on a fixed income. We are able to provide the standard of living our residents have become accustomed but no longer able to afford. We have 96 apartments and therefore I have 96 grandmothers and grandfathers. My residents are wonderful and I enjoy them. They are a lively bunch, so much so that sometimes I feel more like a college dorm director!
